John's Photo Album ~ Page One
Country Music legends.
Just some of the giants of country music who have shaped my life musically.
This album is dedicated to Bumkin ~ for her help, perseverance and total dedication.
Without her help my task would have been that much more difficult. With gratitude, John

'The Friend I never knew'
I`d like to tell a story friends, this story is sad but true.
About a friend that I once had, a friend I never knew.
I came upon this friend of mine through songs he used to sing.
He`d sing of love and tregedy and the heartaches life could bring.
Well, I`d listen to his records and think, it`s just a song.
I thought these things don`t happen and for me life would never go wrong.
Regretfully I know now to my sorrow and my cost,
his words turned out a prophesy of a love I found and lost.
I`ve never forgotten that friend of mine although he`s dead and gone.
In song his philosophy and memory, forever linger on,
I have`nt named that friend of mine, but you`ll know him when you start
to play that claassic song he wrote and called it,
Your Cheatin` heart.
John Duncan, Dedicated to a true legend.
